[Video] How to Draw and Paint a Toon Shark Using a 3D Model in Procreate 5.2 (iPad 3D/2D Brush Demo)

I’m excited to show you the amazing new 3D features of Procreate 5.2 with this mini tutorial. All brushes shown in the demo are included in my freshly updated Procreate MegaPack XXL (2000+ brushes only $15) and Brushtober Bundle (120+ brushes only $4).

Painting directly on the surface of the 3D model using the SALTY SNOW dual watercolor brush

You can adjust camera view, lightning and environment directly in Procreate 5.2. The environment can be turned off later for exporting images with a transparent background.

Drawing outlines over the exported PNG image with transparent background. I used the GEORG BRUSHPEN CLEAN. You could also draw the outlines on the 3D model, but then they will be affected by lightning. This technique can produce an interesting style which I may show in another video.

I used the GEORG WATERCOLOR multiply brush for some quick background brush strokes on a layer below the exported transparent PNG and the ink outlines on the top layer.

Last finishing touches and nice grainy shading using the GRAINBOW SHADER dual color brush.
