.ZIP File Troubleshooting

Some of your downloads will be packed as .zip files. You will need to unzip them to import the brushes into Procreate.

Download .Zip to Mac/PC

I recommend using the default macOS/PC decompression to open the downloaded .zip file (double click or right click menu). Other unzip tools and decompression under Linux OS may not work correctly!

Save the extracted .brushset files/folders to iCloud, Dropbox or similar. For step-by-step instructions please check this blog post.

Download .Zip to iPad

This method requires a third-party app like iZip to unzip files. Direct downloads to your iPad may not work since iOS can’t handle .zip files natively (yet).

Click the first download button in Safari (ZIP file) to download the complete MegaPack. This may take a moment since the file size is 4,5 GB. The download window will appear and Safari will ask you which app to open, please select ("Other..." >) "iZip".

💡TIP: Check this blog post on using iZip app free to download and install brushes directly to your iPad.

Download separate .Brushset files (instead of complete .Zip file)

If you’re experiencing problems downloading the complete (4.5 GB MegaPack) .zip file, I recommend downloading and installing the separate .brushset files instead of the complete 4.5 Gb .zip (they are the same as in the big MP .zip).

Wrong File Extension?

Sometimes Sellfy/Gumroad downloads change the original ".brushset" file extension to ".zip" and you'll get file/folder gibberish. Simply change the file name extension back to ".brushset" so Procreate can recognise, open and install the brushes.
