Here are some looks behind the scenes (aka panels) from some of my favourite comic projects...
Hope you enjoy! 😄

“Sketch As Sketch Can”

Start with spontaneous and loose sketches. After a while you’ll notice your characters develop their own style and attitude. At some point they begin to communicate with you in subtle, non-verbal ways. These moments are the best!

“Character Evolution”

Character Designs need many interations to evolve and come alive! When it comes to larger-than-live characters, I neither believe in Creationism nor in Revolutions. It’s evolution, stupid! ;o)

“Reduce To The Max”

In 1999 I got the chance to develop some characters designs for German kid’s television. I visited dozens of bakery stores to find the perfect anatomy for a depressive tin loaf bread with a shitty job and too short arms.
